Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify mechanical issues or potential failures
- Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance using hand tools and power tools to restore equipment to optimal condition
- Diagnose mechanical problems accurately through testing and analysis, then develop effective solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for each vehicle or machine
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and coordinate maintenance schedules efficiently
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies for ongoing operations

Experience





- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving vehicle or machinery repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical components, and transmissions
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, grinders, impact wrenches, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure precise diagnostics and repairs
- Effective communication skills to document work performed clearly and collaborate with team members effectively

Pay: $23.35-$47.95 per hour
