Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to join our team and provide day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping services for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge of Canadian accounting practices, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple client files accurately, efficiently, and confidentially. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time.

The Full-Cycle Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing clients' bookkeeping from transaction entry through month-end reporting, including maintaining complete and accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring client files are maintained in accordance with applicable Canadian accounting and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete bookkeeping cycle for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries, from day-to-day transaction entry through month-end close.
- Record and maintain accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, deposits, sales, purchases, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date general ledger accounts for multiple client files.
- Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, accruals, and other account adjustments as required.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve variances or unusual transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for clients, as required.
- Ensure client bookkeeping records are accurate,



organized, and maintained in accordance with Canadian accounting practices and applicable requirements.
- Maintain organized and confidential financial documentation and supporting records for each client.
- Communicate with clients as required to obtain missing information, clarify transactions, and address bookkeeping-related questions.
- Manage multiple client files and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Identify potential accounting issues or inconsistencies and bring them to the attention of the appropriate team member or client.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience preferred, ideally with experience managing multiple client files.
- Strong understanding of Canadian bookkeeping and accounting practices.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (Manditory)
- Knowledge of Canadian GST/HST and applicable provincial sales taxes.
- Experience with payroll processing and payroll remittances is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple client deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the bookkeeping team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members.

You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while managing the bookkeeping needs and deadlines of multiple clients across a variety of industries.

You should be confident handling the full bookkeeping cycle, identifying and resolving discrepancies, addressing bookkeeping issues, and ensuring client records are accurate, complete, and up to date. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work directly with business owners, management, and the ALL-PRO team to obtain information, answer questions, and communicate financial information clearly and professionally.
