Building a mining company takes good people: people who know their profession, understand mining, and are willing to roll up their sleeves and help get the work done.

We’re looking for a Geology Technologist or GIT to join our team, with an assignment supporting projects and production at Levack Mine.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll have the opportunity to:

- Perform underground face mapping and sampling in active development and production headings.
- Mark up ore zones, backs, and faces for extraction based on geological models and instructions.
- Collect channel and chip samples and ensure accurate, timely delivery to the lab.
- Support short-term ore control and stope delineation.
- Assist with core logging, geotechnical logging, and sample preparation.




- Maintain sample chain of custody and accurate database records.
- Follow QA/QC procedures to maintain sample integrity and data quality.
- Record geological data using standardized digital tools, geological databases, and GIS software.
- Update underground maps and geological models in collaboration with Geologists.
- Assist with ore reconciliation and provide geological input to mine planning.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

- Have post-secondary education in Geological Technology or a related field.
- Bring 3+ years of mine geology or geological technology experience.
- Have knowledge of geological modelling software such as Datamine.
- Understand underground mining methods, regulations, and safety practices.
- Are comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and email.
- Bring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively and work well with site teams.
