Fred Thompson Contractors (1991) Ltd. located at 7412 Gilley Ave, Burnaby, BC, VSJ 4X5 is hiring full-time, permanent Concrete Masons.

Duties:

· Construct forms and bracings for concrete pours according to elevation points and design configuration;

· Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and supervise placement of concrete into forms;

· Install conduit and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete;

· Spread, level, smooth and finish concrete surfaces;

· Supervise helpers in concrete placement, finishing, and scoring;

· Other duties as required.

Requirements:

· Completion of secondary school preferred.

· At least two years recent industry experience as concrete mason.

Additional information

· Wage: $36/hr plus overtime and advantages per BC Employment Standards

· Job status: full-time (40 hours per week), year-round permanent positions.

· Location of work: various job sites throughout the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas

· Language of work is English, however accommodations can be made for applicants with limited English.

Pay: From $36.00 per hour
