Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Competition Acro and Hip Hop Teacher to inspire young dancers and help them reach their highest potential. This dynamic role involves coaching students for competitions, developing engaging choreography, and fostering a positive, motivating workplace. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acrobatics and hip hop dance styles, combined with a love for teaching children and nurturing their confidence through movement. Responsibilities

- Design and implement comprehensive dance routines focused on acrobatics and hip hop techniques tailored to different skill levels
- Prepare students for dance competitions through structured rehearsals, skill-building exercises, and performance practice
- Foster a supportive and energetic classroom environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and teamwork
- Provide clear instruction on dance techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of equipment or props
- Track student progress, offer constructive feedback, and motivate dancers to achieve their personal best
- Collaborate with parents, staff,



and other instructors to ensure consistent development and communication about student achievements
- Maintain a secure studio environment by adhering to health and safety standards during all training sessions

Skills

- Proven experience teaching acrobatics or hip hop dance styles, especially in a competitive setting
- Strong tutoring and teaching skills with the ability to adapt lessons for children of various ages and skill levels
- Experience working with children, demonstrating patience, enthusiasm, and effective communication
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles to foster positive learning experiences
- Ability to choreograph engaging routines that highlight both technical skill and artistic expression
- Classroom experience that includes managing group dynamics and maintaining discipline in a lively environment
- Additional skills such as cooking or other extracurricular activities are considered a plus but are not required
