Aunt Lucy's Doggy Daycare & Pet Hotel is looking for a full-time Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team! We are a busy, fun, and dog-obsessed facility in Abbotsford and we take pride in treating every pup like family.

Wage: $19–$21 per hour, based on experience. Full-time, 35–40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 6:00am and 8:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Monday to Friday availability is required for this role.

Duties

- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Monitor dog behaviour and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or accidents
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area by regularly cleaning up after the dogs, sanitizing play spaces, and general upkeep of indoor and outdoor areas
- Provide fresh water, food, and medications to dogs according to their individual care instructions
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding their dog's day, behaviour, and any concerns that arise
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (supplies, equipment, and larger dogs) and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Transport a dog to a veterinary clinic in the event of an emergency (valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle required)
- Take part in paid,



hands-on training in dog handling, pack management, and reading canine body language
