Hourly Rate
$42-43 per hour

Day in the Life As a 310T Truck & Coach Technician, you will play an significant role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable and ready to support our operations. This position includes a combination of shop and field work, supporting our equipment and crews throughout the Timmins area and surrounding operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on trucks, trailers and related equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, air brake and hydraulic systems
- Perform field service and repairs at job sites and other company locations
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field to minimize downtime and keep operations moving
- Respond to roadside breakdowns and service calls when required
- Perform safety inspections and ensure equipment meets Ministry and company standards
- Complete service records and required documentation
- Work closely with operations, drivers and other members of the maintenance team
- Maintain service vehicles, tools and equipment used for field repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when completing field repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience repairing hydraulic, electrical and air systems
- Ability and willingness to perform both shop and field repairs
- Ability to work independently and make effective repair decisions in the field
- Robust work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction and maintenance environment
- Own set of mechanic's tools
- DZ or AZ driver's licence an asset
- Experience with heavy construction equipment as well as performing field service and roadside repairs an asset
- Diagnostic software experience an asset
- Welding and torch experience an asset
- 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician experience or licence an asset
