Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Use welding equipment to support bodywork repairs and structural modifications as needed.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute repair procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Support the team in vehicle inspections, troubleshooting issues,
and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background is preferred.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Experience with welding, assembly, and vehicle maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Familiarity with automotive systems, schematics, and diagnostic procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients.
- Mechanic experience at any level will be considered an asset; ongoing training will be provided to support your development as a skilled automotive technician.
- Must have own tools.
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
