Job Summary

We are a company known for our incredible customer service, and are now looking for a reliable driver who is able to work on Friday's with flexibility hours to drive our 5 Ton Kenworth truck on a part-time basis. The job is to drive to Calgary twice a month and Grande Prairie twice a month.

Main responsibilities:

- Accurately pick orders and deliver to customer.

- Scheduled runs.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement.

- Clean 3-year Commercial Drivers abstract (please submit with resume as one document or file).

- 3 consecutive years of delivery experience driving a 5 ton - including power tail gate & pallet jack operation.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

- Proper PPE.





- Knowledge on the proper securing of cargo in accordance with safety requirements

- Ability to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals and brakes.

- Maintain cleanliness of the company truck and complete all daily tasks and reports related to vehicle usage such as truck refueling, run sheets, inspection reports, logbooks and maintenance records.

Experience

- Previous experience in freight transportation

- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus

- Basic automotive repair skills are beneficial

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
