Toronto Metropolitan University is reshaping the downtown core of Toronto with three new buildings: the Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens, the Toronto Metropolitan University Image Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on Yonge Street. In addition, currently in progress is the development of a new multipurpose building, the Church Street development (CSD).



This current building will be located just north of Dundas on Church Street and will be home to four academic health services programs, Toronto Met.

Qualifications

Previous evaluation of performance as an Assistant at the University (if applicable). Enrolled in: 1st year Masters, 2nd year Masters or PhD

Greater preference will be accorded first to Doctoral candidates, then Master's candidates.

Relevant Experience

- Have good communication skills
- Have experience of using Latex
- Have excellent knowledge in R for statistical analysis
- Real Statistics for EXCEL
- Have previous Academic Assistant experience or teaching experience

Candidates currently studying in a relevant (Quantitative Methods, Business Analytics, PhD program accredited by AACSB will be consider, and consideration will be given to the other qualified candidates. Applications from both internal and external qualified applicants are welcome. To be considered, the applicant must attach transcripts that can be used for evaluation of basic qualification. Also, please give a summary on how you meet the requirements of this graduate teaching assistantship. Preference will be given to candidates who have a PhD/DBA and have solid experience in teaching business school students. Specifically undergraduate or graduate courses in Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Financial Applications of Mathematics, Operations Management Applications of Mathematics, Marketing Applications of Mathematics).

Salary & Compensation

September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027 PhD - $56.64 per hour
