Rate or rates of pay: $1,020 per credit for undergraduate courses; $1,112 per credit for undergraduate courses after 40 credits are taught within a five-year period; $1,352 per credit for graduate courses. Any future updates to per credit rates of pay will be reflected within the electronic contract. About The Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in psychology, including but not limited to Introduction to Counseling and Lifespan Development, . You will be expected to provide high-quality instruction, engage students in the learning process, and assess student learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
- Experience or interest in teaching undergraduate courses in psychology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field
- Experience teaching online courses
- Experience with course development and assessment
- Experience working with adult learners
- Experience with learning management systems
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in psychology
- Provide high-quality instruction and engage students in the learning process
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
- Maintain regular office hours and be available to students outside of class
Skills As an Adjunct Professor of Psychology, you will utilize your solid communication and interpersonal skills to engage students in the learning process. You will also use your expertise in psychology to provide high-quality instruction and assess student learning outcomes. In addition, you will need to be proficient in using learning management systems and other technology to support student learning.
