Position Scope/Summary The Administrative Support – Communications & Program Development role provides administrative, communications, scheduling, event management, engagement tracking, and data management support to both the communications and program development teams.

Under the supervision of the Communications Lead, the position assists with newsletters, participant communications, social media activities, content creation, and promotional initiatives. The role offers opportunities to learn and participate in communications, marketing, video production, and content development activities.

The position also coordinates event registrations through Eventbrite and/or WordPress, manages Outlook communications and calendars, supports program promotion, maintains records, tracks participant engagement, and contributes to the successful delivery of programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications & Marketing Support

- Assist with video and content creation initiatives.
- Create marketing and communication materials using Canva (considered an asset).
- Support graphic design, social media marketing, and digital engagement activities.

Program Development Support

- Assist with event coordination and administration; experience with Eventbrite and/or WordPress is an asset.
- Maintain and update data in Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.




- Manage Outlook email communications and calendar scheduling.
- Provide administrative support using Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain tracking spreadsheets and ensure accurate data management across multiple systems.

Administrative Support

- Deliver robust customer service while demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data entry, reporting, and record management.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a virtual team.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.75 per week
