Drive impactful agroecosystems research with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Sherbrooke, Québec. Focus on modeling climate adaptations, nitrogen, and carbon cycles to enhance agricultural practices.

This PC-02 position requires an on-site presence at the Sherbrooke Research and Development Centre. You will engage in agroecosystem modeling by collecting data, developing simulations, and validating models to support Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's goals. Your expertise in programming with R and Fortran will be central to analyzing results and contributing to publications.

Key Responsibilities: • Collect and prepare climatic, soil,



and agronomic datasets • Develop and validate agroecosystem simulation models • Analyze results and assist in preparing scientific publications • Modify programs or scripts for better simulations • Contribute to creative agroecosystem resilience research

Requirements: • Degree in agronomy, environmental sciences, or related field • Experience in agroecosystem or environmental modeling • Proficiency in R programming for modeling • Familiar with database management and data processing • Knowledge of nitrogen and carbon cycles in agroecosystems
