Join our team of High School Tutors and make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys! In this role, you'll provide personalized one on one lessons to high school students, helping them excel in key subjects such as math, science, English, and social.
You do not need a university degree to apply for this position. We have tutors aged 16-22! Our goal is to connect with students and foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth, confidence, and academic achievement. This paid position offers an exciting chance to work flexible hours and help students in the city.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one on one tutoring lessons for students in grades 6-12.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding complex concepts in subjects like math, science, English, and computer science
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to reach their full potential
Requirements
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or tutoring setting
- Completed grade 11 in highschool
- Drivers Licence
- Strong knowledge of high school-level subjects such as math, science, English, or Social Studies
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain concepts and break things down
- Passion for education and helping students succeed academically
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
