We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, building, and installing various components and hardware according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of imperial measurements, fractions, the ability to read simple schematics, mathematics, and proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Duties
- Assemble various framing & door materials for glass company clientele.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks.
- Perform machining tasks as needed to achieve precise dimensions.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks.
- Strong imperial fractions measurement knowledge.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Experience with machining processes is preferred but not required.
- Experience with aluminum door manufacturing or glazing is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus, with a commitment to safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
