A Day in the Life of an Amica Volunteer:
At a time that works for your schedule and the needs of the Residence, you will have the opportunity to contribute your time and skills in a meaningful way. Volunteers may support different departments and activities based on their interests, abilities, and the needs of the Residence.
Qualifications:
As an Amica Volunteer you demonstrate the following qualities:
- Passion for seniors
- Patience and excellent listening skills
- Positive verbal communication in English (or other language as required)
- Ability to problem solve and work with seniors on projects
- Ability to maintain and protect confidentiality of the personal information of the Residents
- Interest in getting to know their personal stories and experiences
