We’re seeking educators who can teach one or more AP or IB subjects. Candidates should ideally bring:
AP Teacher Qualifications (preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in high school level courses (AP experience a plus).
- Participation in AP career development (e.g., AP Summer Institute, workshops, training sessions).
- Experience teaching AP Seminar or Research, or other AP courses, is highly valued.
IB Teacher Qualifications (preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree with teacher training or a minimum of 3 years K–12 teaching experience.
- Participation in IB workshops, especially Category 1 workshops related to the subject.
- Experience teaching IB courses is a strong plus, though not mandatory—demonstrated understanding of IB pedagogy, assessment, and inquiry-based learning is valued.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured and engaging instruction aligned with AP/IB syllabi.
- Prepare students for exams, internal assessments (e.g., EE, IA), and develop critical thinking skills.
- Design lesson plans, mock exams, and feedback tailored to AP/IB rigour.
- Collaborate with centre staff to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies.
