As an Appliance Technician, you will be the go-to professional for troubleshooting complex appliance issues and delivering top-tier service with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance malfunctions by interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and customer descriptions.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC systems when applicable.
- Utilize electrical experience and mechanical knowledge to replace parts, reassemble units, and ensure proper functioning of appliances.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all repair procedures.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used,
and diagnostic findings for each service call.
- Assist with assembly or installation of new appliances when required, ensuring correct setup according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems.
- Hands-on experience in appliance repair or related technical fields such as HVAC or electronics.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals efficiently.
- Familiarity with assembly processes for appliances or related equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for service calls.
