Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architect: Define the end-to-end architecture for cross-cloud AI systems, ensuring robust security, low latency, and high scalability.
- Bridge Cloud Ecosystems: Architect solutions that leverage GCP's advanced AI services (Vertex AI) while operating on AWS-resident data (Redshift, S3, Lakehouse patterns).
- Lead Agentic Workflows: Engineer the orchestration layers for agentic AI, including planning, tool-use,
and multi-step reasoning capabilities.
- Define Operational Standards: Establish the "rules of the road" for LLM operationalization, including evaluation frameworks (LLM-as-a-judge), guardrails, and cost-efficient cloud utilization.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Act as a strategic partner to client leadership, routing technical requirements into actionable delivery sprints.
- Mentorship: Guide the pod in maintaining high engineering standards, focusing on "delivery over sales" in a highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in machine learning, data engineering, and systems architecture.
- Cloud Architecture: Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud AI services (Vertex AI)
- Generative AI Systems: Deep experience architecting production-grade LLM applications, including model routing, prompt engineering pipelines, and evaluation methodologies.
- Engineering Fundamentals: Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python preferred) and experience with MLOps pipelines.
Strong Plus (Big Positives)
- Knowledge of AWS data architecture (Redshift, S3, Databricks).
- Experience with Knowledge Graph technologies (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph, Stardog).
- Hands-on experience with open-source agentic and LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).
- Proven experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Prior experience in champion-challenger model deployment and testing.
