Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team.

In this hands-on role, you will inspect, assemble, label, and package our products according to established quality standards. The work involves repetitive production tasks and requires accuracy, consistency, manual dexterity, and the ability to maintain quality while meeting daily production goals.

Previous manufacturing experience is an asset but is not required. We will provide training to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect products and components for defects, inconsistencies, or damage.
- Prepare product surfaces and apply primer and adhesive tape according to established procedures.
- Trim, assemble, and finish components accurately.
- Package products and accessories securely and ensure each package contains the correct items.
- Create and apply product labels and barcodes.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records using basic computer systems.
- Follow quality-control procedures and report production issues promptly.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work with team members to meet daily production targets and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Assist with inventory counts, material preparation, and other production tasks when needed.




- Help train current production employees as you gain experience.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Production Manager or management team.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or quality-control experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
- Comfortable performing repetitive hands-on tasks throughout the workday.
- Basic computer skills for product labeling and production tracking.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Able to work independently and contribute positively within a small team.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when required.
