Role Description The Asset Finance Functional Consultant will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, supporting clients in designing, optimizing, and implementing asset finance processes and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, mapping and improving asset finance workflows, and advising stakeholders on functional best practices.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements, configure functional aspects of asset finance systems, and support testing and user training. The role also involves preparing functional specifications, contributing to solution design, troubleshooting functional issues, and ensuring that asset finance operations align with business and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

- Solid analytical skills to interpret financial data, evaluate business performance, and propose process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, documenting requirements, and presenting recommendations.




- Hands-on experience with business process analysis, mapping, and optimization, especially in asset finance operations.
- Consulting skills to guide clients on functional solutions, best practices, and change management in asset finance initiatives.
- Solid understanding of finance principles, asset-based lending or leasing, and related regulatory considerations.
- Experience working as a functional consultant or business analyst in financial services or asset finance domains.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract environment, managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools and familiarity with asset finance or ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar systems) is beneficial.
