Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager Sales to join our retail team. This role is vital in driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team. As an Assistant Manager Sales, you will play a key part in managing daily store operations, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring smooth and efficient store functioning
- Lead, motivate, and supervise sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching and support
- Assist in creating and publishing the team schedule
- Manage inventory and stock management
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high standards of customer service using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare reports to inform strategic decisions and budgeting effortsSkills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer decisions and vendor relationships




- Proven experience in retail sales management, supervising teams, and store operations
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management techniques
- Leadership qualities with a focus on training & development, team management, and motivating staff for peak performance
- Effective communication skills to foster a collaborative team atmosphere and engage customers confidently
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to promote products and increase store traffic
