We are currently looking for an individual to fill the vacant position of:
Senior/Master Technician - Automation
(Afternoon Shift)
Position Overview
- Reports to department Specialist
- Support daily Production equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- Support continuous improvement of equipment downtime prevention
- Support PM program efficiently through predictive and preventative activities
- Support Production daily requirements for Quality and Delivery
- Use electrical and mechanical skills/knowledge to interact with a variety of equipment types including but not limited to robots, end of arm tooling, conveyors, vibration welders, detection equipment, clip/screw automation
- Promote and work safely at all times
- Full-time position with benefits after three months of employment
- Wage commensurate with work experience
Requirements
- Must have a minimum 3 years of related work experience (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) AND 2 years Community College in mechanical/robotics/automation
- Advanced ability to read/understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Robust mechanical background and electrical understanding
- General machining skills are an asset
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively work within a team
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage projects alongside daily tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work at heights
