Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Assist in meal preparation, including assembling ingredients and cooking components for various dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve customers efficiently by ensuring timely food delivery and addressing any special requests or dietary needs
- Support the team during busy periods by multitasking between cooking, serving, and cleaning duties
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Experience in handling food in a high-volume setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of serving procedures, meal assembly, and customer service best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and presentation
