Bakery Counter Attendant – Nova Era - GEARY

As a Bakery Counter Attendant at Nova Era, you will be the friendly face of our stores, welcoming customers and ensuring they enjoy an excellent shopping experience. Your role is essential to maintaining our tradition of quality and warm service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Provide information about products, ingredients, and promotions.
- Slice, package, and label bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages (such as coffee, espresso, and tea).
- Handle cash, card, and e-transfer payments accurately.




- Keep the counter, displays, and service area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Support the team with restocking and other tasks as needed.
- A valid Ontario Food Handler's certificate.

- Previous experience in food service, retail, or bakery is an asset, but training is provided.
