Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Baker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious baked goods, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent customer service. Your creativity in cake decorating and food presentation will help create memorable experiences for our customers while maintaining efficient kitchen operations.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and consistency
- Decorate cakes and desserts using various techniques to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products are handled and stored properly
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and portioning products
- Package baked goods attractively for sale or delivery while maintaining freshness
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment sanitation and organization
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food presentation skills is a plus
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and kitchen safety standards is essential
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or the food industry will support success in this role
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting are important qualities
