Duties

- Lead engaging ballet classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, emphasizing proper technique and posture
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate foundational ballet movements, choreography, and creative expression
- Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere that encourages students’ confidence and enjoyment of dance
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding of ballet principles
- Incorporate elements of storytelling or thematic concepts to make lessons lively and memorable




- Support students’ overall development by integrating basic classroom management skills and ensuring a safe learning environment
- Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities when necessary

Experience

- Proven experience teaching ballet to children or early learners, with a focus on engaging young audiences
- Strong background in ballet technique, choreography, and dance pedagogy (RAD qualified preferred and can teach exam curriculum)
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles to support developmental milestones through dance
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching other arts or movement disciplines is a plus
- Ability to create fun, interactive lessons that motivate students of varying ages and skill levels
