Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their preferences, and provide personalized service to enhance their experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash transactions
- Handle food preparation tasks including assembling food items, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with serving food items and ensuring timely delivery to customers in a friendly manner
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Knowledge of the food industry standards, including food handling procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Strong communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
- Previous experience in serving or food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role
