As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to standard recipes.
- The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about experimenting with beverages and creating innovative variations, while strictly adhering to established food safety and quality standards.
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy,
including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Touchbistro POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
