Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues quickly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order entry and cashiering tasks.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or drink orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude that fosters repeat business.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, calculating bills, tips, and managing transactions accurately.
- Experience in hospitality environments that require multitasking, quick thinking, and maintaining composure under pressure.
