Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Manage cash transactions using POS systems such as Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and food safety procedures responsibly.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials for smooth operation.
- Follow food handling and safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in bartending or food service is highly preferred; familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Light Speed POS; basic math skills for cash handling and transactions are essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies safely, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles will be advantageous.
