TrueTechControls Inc. is looking for a motivated Junior BAS Controls Installer to join our team. This position focuses on Building Automation System (BAS) installation and control wiring.
Main Responsibilities
- Read and understand BAS control drawings
- Pull, label, and organize control wiring
- Install conduit, wire mould, junction boxes, thermostats, sensors, controllers, and other BAS devices
- Complete wire terminations at control panels and field devices
- Assist with testing and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with supervisors, mechanical contractors, and other site trades
- Maintain clean and organized workmanship
- Follow all site safety requirements
- Travel to different project locations as required
Requirements
- Experience with wire pulling and terminations
- Ability to read drawings and follow instructions
- Good communication and site coordination skills
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Working at Heights and WHMIS certificates are preferred
Previous BAS or controls experience is an asset but is not mandatory. TrueTechControls will provide guidance and training for control panels, BAS devices, communication wiring, equipment connections, and other related work.
Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, transportation availability, and ability to work independently.
