Econoplus Électroménagers is seeking a Branch Manager – Retail to oversee the daily operations of our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia retail location. The successful candidate will support sales, customer service, staff supervision, inventory and operational activities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Languages – Key Requirement

Bilingual, functional French required. Advanced English required

Education

Bachelor's degree

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Key Responsibilities

- Direct and control daily operations.
- Evaluate daily operations.
- Plan and organize daily operations.
- Manage staff and assign duties.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and the effect of competitors' operations on sales.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Determine staffing requirements.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Oversee payroll administration.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
- Administer budget.
- Monitor staff performance.

Supervision Supervise 1 to 2 people.
