Job Summary

Overview The award winning Aegir Room in the award winning Oswego Hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve breakfast dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation,



cooking, or food service preferred, especially in restaurant or kitchen settings
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and cooking methods for breakfast items
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with the food industry standards and kitchen operations is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts as required
