TCU Place is seeking an experienced Building Operations Supervisor to oversee the operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building systems.

This permanent, full-time position provides technical and supervisory leadership, coordinates maintenance activities and contractors, supports preventative maintenance programs, and ensures the facility operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life-safety, and building automation systems.
- Plan, assign, supervise, and inspect maintenance work to ensure secure and efficient completion.
- Perform and oversee maintenance, installation, and repair of building systems, equipment, fixtures, and structures.
- Coordinate and monitor work completed by internal and external trades and contractors.
- Assign and track preventative and corrective maintenance through CMMS/SAP.
- Assist with prioritizing operational and capital work.
- Lead safety meetings and maintain required safety, incident, and compliance documentation.
- Promote a safe and respectful workplace and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures.




- Respond to facility issues and prioritize work based on safety and operational needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Grade 12 education.
- Two-year post-secondary diploma in Power Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid Fourth-Class Power Engineer's Licence with TSASK.
- Valid Refrigeration Engineer's Licence with TSASK.
- Minimum five years of progressively responsible facility operations experience, including HVAC, building systems maintenance, and mechanical operations.
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence and ability to provide a satisfactory SGI driver's abstract.
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR C/AED certification.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check upon offer of employment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
