We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Consultant – Asset Finance to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients across the asset finance and leasing industry.

This is a hybrid functional and technical consulting role requiring strong knowledge of Asset Finance, Equipment Finance, Leasing, and Loan Servicing , combined with hands-on experience in SQL, data migration, integrations, APIs, and solution design .

The consultant will work directly with clients and internal technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, lead technical workstreams, and support implementation through testing, migration, and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Solution Design

- Design and implement solutions for Asset Finance and Leasing platforms .
- Configure and extend Asset Finance applications based on business requirements.
- Design APIs, interfaces, XML/web services, integrations, and data models .
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data processes, and integration workflows.
- Lead technical troubleshooting, performance tuning, and workplace readiness.
- Define and execute data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover strategies .
- Collaborate with architects and development teams on technical design and implementation.

Functional & Client Consulting
- Conduct client requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Define solution scope, configuration requirements, workflows,



and integration needs.
- Serve as the key bridge between business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, architects, and project managers .
- Validate end-to-end Asset Finance processes, including:
- Quote-to-Contract
- Contract Origination
- Asset Management
- In-Life Contract Servicing
- Billing and Payments
- Accounting
- Contract Changes
- Renewals/Terminations
- Provide guidance on product capabilities, industry practices, and appropriate configuration approaches.

Solution Advisory & Delivery
- Evaluate configuration vs. customization options and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Identify functional and technical gaps and develop alternative solution approaches.
- Prepare solution designs, process documentation, technical specifications, and impact assessments.
- Participate in architecture and design review sessions.
- Support project managers with planning, risks, dependencies, issues, and delivery governance .
- Support SIT, UAT, production readiness, migration, and go-live activities.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on technical and functional topics.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of experience in technology consulting,



professional services, systems implementation, or financial technology.
- Strong hands-on experience with Asset Finance, Equipment Finance, Leasing, or related financial systems .

- Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, communication, and client-facing consulting skills .
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Asset Finance or Leasing product implementations .
- Previous experience in Professional Services Consulting or client-facing implementation roles.
- Experience with solution architecture, technical design authority, or architecture review boards .
- Exposure to cloud platforms, microservices, security models, and enterprise integrations .
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and enterprise delivery methodologies.
- Experience leading technical workstreams or mentoring consultants.
