We are located at 120 Toro Road North York On M3J 2A9 and currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyer/Purchaser to manage purchasing and procurement lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, components, supplies, and services required to support continuous production and day-to-day operations.

This position is responsible for sourcing and qualifying suppliers, obtaining and analyzing quotations, issuing and managing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials in accordance with production schedules and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have solid analytical and negotiation skills, a commercial mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to develop and maintain productive long-term supplier relationships.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDES :

· Execute daily purchasing functions for all customer demands and corresponding buying requirements





· Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers.

· Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries, pricing, and order status.

· Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.

· Maintain and control vendor files to ensure costs and specifications are accurate

· Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

· Provide general administrative and operational support as required, including answering and directing incoming calls and responding to routine inquiries.

· Perform other office tasks as assigned by the General Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIRED

· Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 1 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (Experience in sheet Metal Fabrication is an asset)

· Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.

· Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, E2 and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Terms of employment- Full time/Part Time

Start date -As soon as possible

Salary: To be negotiated

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
