We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented Cabinet Drafter & Project Coordinator to handle our technical drawings, job scheduling, and client communication. In this role, you will turn initial design concepts into production-ready shop drawings, keep active projects on schedule, and guide clients through the review and approval stages to ensure a smooth handoff to our shop floor.
Core Responsibilities
- Create 3D cabinet models and 2D shop drawings from initial design concepts and site measurements.
- Gather and verify client appliance cut-sheets, sink specs, and hardware selections.
- Generate production-ready cutlists and CNC machining files for the shop.
- Communicate directly with clients to guide revisions and secure final drawing approvals.
- Manage the master production schedule, tracking project milestones from deposit to install.
Skills & Qualifications
- CAD Experience: Preferred experience with cabinet design software (such as Mozaik,
Cabinet Vision, or 2020 Design), or a solid foundation in general 2D/3D CAD drafting.
- Cabinetry Knowledge: Working knowledge of cabinet construction, clearances, and hardware is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with strong spatial aptitude.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to read appliance specification manuals and follow architectural dimensions accurately.
- Communication: Clear and skilled communication skills for coordinating with homeowners, contractors, and our shop team.
- Organization: Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple jobs, track deadlines, and keep files organized.
Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
