Probably Nothing is a small-format, fast-paced café specializing in matcha, coffee and bagels. We’re looking for someone who has already learned how a outstanding food & beverage operation works — and is ready to move from supporting a manager to running a location of their own.
You do not need years of General Manager experience.
In fact, we are especially interested in meeting strong Assistant Managers who are ready for more responsibility, more ownership and the opportunity to prove what they can do.

What You’ll Own
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the café, including:
- Leading, coaching and developing your team
- Hiring and training great people
- Creating schedules and managing labour
- Maintaining solid customer service and hospitality
- Keeping the café clean, organized and operating to a high standard
- Managing inventory, ordering and food costs
- Solving problems quickly and confidently
- Setting expectations and holding people accountable
- Working alongside your team during busy periods
- Creating an environment where both customers and employees genuinely enjoy being
Who We’re Looking For You are probably currently an Assistant Manager or experienced Supervisor in a café, quick-service restaurant, bakery or other food & beverage operation.
You’ve learned the fundamentals. You understand what it takes to run a good shift. You know how to deal with customers, coach employees and keep an operation organized.
We want someone who can communicate clearly, build a strong team, have difficult conversations when necessary and still create a workplace that is positive, social and fun.
You should be someone who notices what needs to be done and does it — rather than waiting to be told.
