As a Carpenters Helper at Tri-Star Industries Ltd., you will be responsible to ensure the completion of the vehicle preparation tasks and signing off on all documentation once work is properly completed. You will always ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture of wood products used in the construction of vehicles, as defined by engineering.
- Manufacture of fibreglass components used in the construction of vehicles, as defined by engineering.
- Manufacture of plastic components used in the construction of vehicles, as defined by engineering.
- All documentation for Tri-Star’s requirements (such as flowcharts, checklists, etc.) is completed.
- Employee use proper safety equipment when completing tasks.
- Employee is to be competent with the tools of his trade and familiar with the use of equipment as well as the handling of raw material.
- Help in the preservation of customer supplied product and projects thru proper protection of equipment/product.
- Participate in training for new procedures or departments when required.
- Be able to understand both written instructions (production specs) and drawings with minimal supervision.
- Maintain and clean both shop and shop equipment.
- Any other duties required by supervisors and management.
Please note that this position requires the successful candidate to bring some hand tools.
