Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a courteous and professional manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales accurately, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and mobile payments
- Maintain accurate cash register balances by counting cash, coins, and receipts at the beginning and end of shifts
- Provide product demos or information when needed to enhance customer understanding and encourage sales upselling opportunities
- Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are tidy and appealing
- Address customer inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and friendly phone etiquette




- Support team members with basic math calculations for transactions and promotional discounts while managing time effectively during busy periods

Qualifications

- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; technical sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customers
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and customer service standards
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage customers positively and professionally
