Duties
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and skilled manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area, including kitchens, dishes, and the restaurant area
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Set up event spaces with tables, linens, utensils, and other catering essentials
- Set up the day for lunch service including, prepping salads, breads, cutting deli meat, and produce
- Provide excellent guest services during lunch service
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, and basic food preparation techniques
- Cash register experience
- Customer service skills that demonstrate friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of service
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service, customer service and event setup
