Position: Chiropodist / Podiatrist - Permanent – Full time

Start Date: To be negotiated

Salary: Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000/yr. Salary is based on the earnings of our current podiatrists. (30% commission on podiatry and Orthotic Sales with a guaranteed base of $80,000)

Education: Podiatry/Chiropody degree

Hours: 5 days/week (Monday to Friday) - 41.5 hours/week

Our clinic is closed on the weekends.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the foot and lower limb in patients of all ages.
- Provide routine, diabetic, and high-risk foot care.
- Assess and manage wounds, including appropriate offloading strategies.
- Diagnose and treat lower-extremity musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions.
- Administer shockwave therapy as part of the treatment and management of appropriate musculoskeletal conditions.
- Perform podiatric nail and soft tissue surgical procedures using local anesthesia where appropriate.
- Assess patients for custom foot orthoses and other therapeutic devices.
- Work closely with our on-site orthotic laboratory, which manufactures a variety of custom devices, including polypropylene rearfoot-control orthotics, EVA full-posted orthotics, and accommodative devices.




- Assess footwear and provide appropriate footwear recommendations.
- Educate patients regarding foot health, prevention, treatment options, and ongoing care.
- Make referrals to other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, pedorthists, and other healthcare professionals to support a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in community outreach and promotion of clinic services where appropriate.
- Contribute ideas for new treatments, technologies, and services that may benefit our patients.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments, research, and best practices within the podiatry profession.
