Childcare Support Worker – Chetwynd

Supported Child Development Program | Early Childhood Educator | Grid Level 10 | Casual

WAGE: $27.52/hour(per Collective Agreement)

HOURS: Monday–Friday Casual

About the Role

As a Childcare Support Worker with our Supported Child Development program, you'll work directly with children who have additional needs, helping bring their individual education plans to life in everyday childcare settings. Working under the direction of the Department Manager and Childcare Consultant, you'll play a hands-on role in making inclusive childcare a reality for kids and families in Chetwynd.

What You'll Do

- Implement individualized education plans for children with additional needs within a childcare setting
- Partner with the Department Manager and Childcare Consultant to support each child's development goals
- Work alongside childcare educators and teams to create an inclusive, welcoming setting for every child
- Build positive, supportive relationships with children, families, and childcare staff

What You Bring





- An Early Childhood Education Diploma, OR 2+ years' experience working with children with additional needs in a supervised setting, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A valid First Aid certificate
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear, confident written and verbal communication
- A genuine, self-directed commitment to integration and inclusion
- Comfort working across different teams and with a variety of children
