We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our logistics team! Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime during routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams,



and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record and criminal record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to trucking and freight handling
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road
- Mountain and winter driving is a must
