About the role: As a cleaner your role is to be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across residential units, commercial spaces, and common areas according to scheduled standards. Key duties include deep cleaning and preparing vacant units to be move-in ready, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, and maintaining all types of flooring and surfaces. Ensuring high-quality cleaning standards and effective use of cleaning supplies is central to the position.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain residential units, commercial buildings and common areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, living/dining areas, bedrooms, hallways, basement, windows, blinds, lobby, walkways, elevators, and parking areas, following daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Perform vacant unit cleaning, ensuring bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, and hallways are move-in ready.
- Sweep, scrub, and mop hardwood, laminate, tile, and other flooring; vacuum carpets and perform shampooing or stain removal as required.




- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, basins, toilets, bathtubs/showers, ceramic tiles, shelves, toilet paper dispenser, mirrors, baseboards, fixtures, and floors in residential and common areas.
- Clean kitchens, including appliances, countertops, cabinets, sinks, floors, baseboards, windows, shelves, walls, ceilings, outlets and fixtures.
- Dust, wipe, and polish furniture, shelves, windows, blinds, baseboards, light fixtures, baseboard, and other surfaces as needed.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste from bins and containers in accordance with guidelines.
- Coordinate with other trades, such as electricians, gas fitters, plumbers, groundskeepers, and painters.
- Report to your supervisor immediately regarding any unforeseen, urgent interior & exterior circumstances, and health & safety concerns.
- Select and oversee the procurement of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Clearly understand EMR cleaning standards.

Candidate Requirements:

- Ability to operate various tools.
- Ability to carry various tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building regulations and codes and safety standards.
- Proven cleaning & sanitation experience,



with the ability to maintain and care for a variety of property types.
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends & statutory holidays.
- Strong teamwork spirit and team player.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with owners, tenants, clients and team members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt efficiently and effectively.

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:

- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) all the time at work.
- Always carry all related cleaning supplies.
- Potential exposure to dangerous chemical substances.
- Ability to work at extreme temperatures, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and sun.
- Ability to work on uneven or slippery surfaces
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull cleaning tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and varied indoor and outdoor environments.
- Willing to work flexible and extended hours as required by project demands.
- Awareness of safety conditions and environment.
