Description: The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) provides support for research studies through the identification, collection, and reporting of clinical trial data. The CRC compiles research, reports and regulatory documents as required by the protocol, and study/sponsor. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Completion of a minimum two year diploma or certificate in a health care related field. Minimum of two years of clinical research experience.



Equivalencies in education or experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in combination with suitable experience in a clinical research environment. Minimum of three years of experience as a Research Coordinator. Some background in research methodologies preferred (experiential/theoretical).

Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. Accurate documentation skills/detail oriented.

Evidence of strong analytical skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree preferred. Preference given to those who hold society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) certification/membership. Project support or management experience desired. Must display a positive, professional demeanor at all times and have excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion of all sensitive information.
