Duties
- Install, remove, and repair tires on commercial trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery using hand tools and power tools
- Install, remove, and repair tires on passenger cars and pickup trucks using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct tire inspections to identify damage, wear patterns, or safety concerns
- Perform routine maintenance on tire equipment and related vehicle components
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tire selection, maintenance needs, and safety procedures
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle large tires and wheels during service procedures
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Support sales efforts by recommending appropriate tire products and accessories to customers
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience or background in automotive repair highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with tires, engines, or vehicle systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire-changing equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures and safety standards
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands that include standing for long periods and manual labor
