Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine pre-trip and post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment, to ensure proper functioning before and after trips
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups,
and vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, Mechanic, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Follow all safety protocols during operations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license Class 1 with a clean driving record and 3 years experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, or related roles
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in logistics environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
