About the Role

We are a small convenience store looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking individual to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently, and is committed to providing a positive experience for our customers.

As an employee, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including serving customers, processing transactions, stocking products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Handle daily sales and process cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately
- Process lottery transactions, including ticket sales, redemptions, and related customer inquiries
- Sell alcohol and tobacco products in accordance with Ontario laws and store policies
- Verify customer identification and ensure age-restricted products are sold responsibly
- Restock shelves, coolers, and other product displays
- Keep products and displays neat, organized, and properly stocked
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
- Monitor inventory and communicate when products need to be reordered
- Assist with opening and/or closing duties
- Handle busy periods calmly and efficiently

What We're Looking For





- 19 years of age or older
- Valid Smart Serve certification is required
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Responsible and trustworthy when handling cash and age-restricted products
- Able to work independently and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
- Willing to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but training will be provided

Working Hours We are looking for someone who is available to work a combination of morning and evening shifts, depending on scheduling needs.

- Morning Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Weekend availability is an asset. Flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts is preferred. Why Join Us?
